Mother's Day Gifting

Mother’s Day is something different for everyone. No matter what that is, I’m sending you love.

“If I know what love is, it's because of you.”

From the moment I became a mom, I only knew this immediate, effortless and indestructible love. An uncontrollable beam that shined from my heart to theirs. This immense light was magic that both completed and crippled me. Once I felt it, I could never survive without it. Any wounds from my past have been bandaged by my children. Small scars that are only visible to me and my reminder to do better. To be the parent I wish I had.

Sending love to all. To those mothers who have lost a child. Those who are expecting. Those longing to be a mom or who have lost their mom. To those mothers and kids with love filled relationships and those with strained parent relationships.

Mother’s Day gifts are different for everyone. For me, I definitely take time for myself by getting in a massage and a workout or even a meditation. Then, we celebrate together, with a family brunch and me opening gifts. These presents are more about my kids then me, as nothing is sweeter than watching how proud they are of their giving. Plus, I’ll take downtime over diamonds any day of the week!

Two years ago, I was gifted some scary smiley face slippers and some pajamas that still haunt me. Hey… I’m just being honest! My mom guilt forced me to wear them, but eventually I could not longer fake it. So I started feeding my husband gift ideas.

I recognize the excitement it brings to my kids when I open their gifts. I’m sharing some of my favorite gift ideas that they can see you enjoy daily and also teach them the importance of self care, being comfortable or finding joy in the little things.

Here is a preview of a gift guide I shared over on my Instagram. You can shop the links below!
