About Cari
Cari Fund is a passionate advocate for women's empowerment and emotional healing. With a mission to inspire women to turn their pain into potential, Cari encourages them to be the women they were born to be and the parents they never had. Her ultimate goal is to help women and mothers increase their emotional intelligence, create better human beings, and positively impact future generations.
Cari's journey has been marked by significant achievements, including writing the book she was born to write and building a thriving community on her toxic parenting awareness and healing Instagram platform. In the summer of 2024, she will launch her podcast, "Surviving Roots," as a crash course in turning pain into power.
With a diverse educational background, Cari holds a Master's in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition & Foods from West Virginia University. She has worked in the beauty industry in New York City for over a decade, building brands, working behind the scenes, and even developing and selling her own skincare line. Recently, Cari spent six years in corporate social media management, working with clients in beauty, fashion, and restaurant industries.
As an author, Cari has written two novels, "Fake Perfect Me" (2010) and "For Internal Use Only" (2012), showcasing her creative storytelling abilities.
Currently residing in Miami Beach with her husband and two dogs, Cari is a recovering helicopter mom to her daughter and son. She is driven by the knowledge that even one person inspired by her message to break the cycle of their own generational trauma, shed their pain and shame, and become the mother or woman they were born to be, makes her sharing worthwhile. Cari's passion lies in helping women, mothers, and children win at life.
